Our experience in the railway isolation industry showed us that there is no other way of transporting your portable earths and RoLE Equipment other than throwing the earths over one shoulder and carrying the awkward RoLE lights by hand.

Any experienced AP will tell you that this can be very uncomfortable especially when transporting this equipment for a long distance. The metal CATU clamps on the end of the earths are always striking the AP or EA’s legs and knees and the RoLE Lights can often cut into their hands when carrying

When you factor this in with tasks such as opening and closing access gates, accessing through gates on end of platforms, climbing access steps it often proves very difficult to carry the equipment safely and comfortably.
